Willowbrook Pharmacy is looking for a Full Time Pharmacy Liaison to serve as the primary relationship and access resource for dermatology offices. 

Title: Pharmacy Liaison – Dermatology & Specialty Access

The Pharmacy Liaison serves as the primary relationship and access resource for dermatology offices. This role focuses on maintaining physician awareness, simplifying patient access to therapy, and reinforcing the pharmacy’s value as a problem-solving partner.  This position reports to the Pharmacy Manager.

This is not a pharmaceutical sales role. The emphasis is on service, access, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Physician Office Engagement
  • Maintain regular, scheduled in-person visits to targeted dermatology offices
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for office staff (MAs, nurses, office managers)
  • Reinforce the pharmacy’s role in supporting manufacturer copay programs and access solutions

Access & Problem Resolution

  • Assist offices with prescription routing questions
  • Troubleshoot coverage, copay, and prior authorization barriers
  • Ensure rapid follow-up on issues affecting patient starts or continuity of care

Relationship Maintenance

  • Build trust through responsiveness, consistency, and follow-through
  • Maintain visibility without reliance on frequent meals or promotions
  • Communicate pharmacy updates, turnaround times, and access improvements

Internal Coordination

  • Act as the bridge between physician offices and pharmacy operations
  • Relay office feedback to pharmacy leadership
  • Help prioritize high-value prescribers and accounts

Target Accounts

  • Focus on top 30–40 dermatology prescribers and high-impact offices
  • Healthcare experience preferred (medical office, specialty pharmacy, patient access, or field-based healthcare role)
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Comfortable with in-person office visits and professional relationship-building
  • Understanding of insurance, copay programs, or specialty workflows is a plus

Compensation (Target Range)

  • Base Salary: $60,000
  • Potential Annual Bonus: $15,000
  • Travel: Mileage reimbursement
